Sunday Magazine is a gorgeous, glossy magazine that goes out to millions of Australians every week as part of the Sunday Telegraph/Sunday Herald Sun. The team behind Sunday Magazine is launching a new section called Love My Way, and they’re looking for contributions. The editorial team got in touch with us to share this exciting opportunity with our students.
Love My Way is looking for people to write about their personal experiences of love and relationships. It doesn’t need to be a victorious love story, it could be a love that has beaten the odds, or even a love that couldn’t last.
The story is to be written in first person, so this is an ideal opportunity to take your blogging skills to published pages. Regardless of whether you’re a blogger or journo (or both!), this is a wonderful opportunity to share your story with millions of Australians, and be published by a major publication.
If you’re interested in pitching your story to the team at Sunday Magazine, email Katherine a two-sentence summary of your story. Don’t forget to include the drama – the conflict and issues you’ve had along the way. Your overview should also include your age(s) and a photo. It doesn’t need to be anything fancy – if they love your story, they will organise a shoot.
