NaNoWriMo: Thank Goodness It’s Over at the Sydney Writers’ Centre this Saturday

It’s the last day of November and all over the world people are stretching their tired fingers and unsticking themselves from their chairs. Whether or not you reached the target of 50,000 words, the time has come to celebrate the crazy writing month that was.

We’re thrilled to be providing the space for the official Thank Goodness It’s Over party at the our Centre in Milsons Point, this Saturday from 2-6pm. It’ll be an indoor picnic but if it’s really pretty we can head outdoors, thanks to the crazy Sydney weather.

So please bring a plate of something to share, and snippets of your novel if you’re keen to share it, and join in the celebration.

You can find out more information here.

Will you be coming? How did you go with your NaNoWriMo target?

I wish I could come! Don’t know of any closing parties in Perth. I hit the 50,000 mark last night. Quite shocked! It was hard but well worth it. Thanks for your encouragement on this challenge. Support makes all the difference on a project like this!

      Hi Gill,
I hope you and your writing group had a wonderful celebration party. There was a lot of clapping and cheering for everyone at the Sydney event, including those who didn’t win. Good luck with your writing from here on!
